I Care, I Cure 5k Run 2008 : Ian Besner was the same age as my son, when he was diagnosed with cancer and subsequently passed on due to complications with treatment of his disease. I never met him, but have heard so much about him from mutual friends. The "I Care I Cure Foundation" was set up to raise awareness and to raise funds to better treat childhood cancer. Sunday, Feb 3th was the first anual 5k run to raise funds for the foundation, and it was a huge success. All profits from the sale of these photographs ($195 so far) will be donated to the I Care I Cure foundation.
